Honoring Ruling Elders Mike and Kurt

I am so glad we had a chance to pause in the service last Sunday (11/27) to publicly acknowledge Kurt, Mike, Susie, and Charlene for the last five years of their faithful service.

It is a good reminder for all of us, whether you’re a month-old attendee or a 20+ year-old member at Citylife, to know that our God is good and He is faithful to His people (Ps. 100:5). And He sees and works through humble servants who have just enough courage to say yes to His calling to follow wherever He leads even through so many fears and unknowns in life. I am grateful for Kurt and Mike who went above and beyond for these last five years as active elders at Citylife to demonstrate that courage and who model humility, honesty, love, and hospitality for us all.

Kurt and Mike – We are not here without you. Thank you and you deserve this good and much needed rest!
